May is a very special time for us at Sweet House Daycare in North Vancouver, as we join the rest of British Columbia in celebrating Child Care Month and Child Care Provider Appreciation Day on May 9, 2025. This annual recognition, officially proclaimed by the Government of British Columbia, is a meaningful opportunity to shine a light on the essential role that child care plays in our communities and to express heartfelt thanks to the incredible individuals who make it all possible.

Child care is much more than just a service—it’s the foundation of healthy families, thriving children, and a strong local economy. As early childhood educators and caregivers, we at Sweet House Daycare are deeply committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child who walks through our doors.
